I am a sports writer. I also live on the west coast, ya know the coast where people are fair and equal. Unlike the east coast folks that have come to believe that if a football team is from anywhere, but the west coast, they must be better then all other teams.
The Oregon Ducks are 8-1. They have demolished all teams before them except one. Except for the loss, there have been no close games, no nail bitters, nothing that shows even the slightest chink in the armor, except for that one loss. They are currently ranked #3 in the Bowl Championship series. Ahead them are the #1, and ever so deserving, 9-0 Ohio State Buckeyes. The team I have a beef with, however, are the #2, 8-1, LSU Tigers. They have had more then a few wins in which they were forced to come from behind and win the closing minutes. Something Oregon has not had to do. They have won several games by single digits while Oregon is beating teams by 20, 30, and even 40 points. Still, LSU is ranked ahead of Oregon in the BCS.
This my folks...is lame.

Pac-10 vs SEC is no contest. If the Ducks had to play 5-6 teams in their conference that were contenders and not pretenders, then they may get their just reward.

I am not going to argue against that. I just dont think that LSU could beat Oregon. There D is over-rated and their offense is nothin special. Oregon would light them up.
